For many of our homeowners and team members, life in Arkansas is defined by the outdoors. Whether it’s an early morning in the duck blind, a weekend deer camp, or just a hike through the woods, our state’s public lands are a treasure.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation serves as the fundraising arm for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC), allowing them to go above and beyond in their mission to conserve wildlife and habitat. While the Commission manages the land, the Foundation helps secure the resources needed to ensure these wild places exist for future generations.
Targeted Support: "Where to Hunt" & Wildlife Management Areas
When we make our donation this month, we are specifically asking that it go toward the "Where to Hunt" program and the support of Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs).
Arkansas is unique in offering over 100 WMAs, providing thousands of acres of public hunting and recreational land. These areas are vital for ensuring that everyone—regardless of whether they own private land—has access to the outdoors. Maintaining these habitats, managing wildlife populations, and keeping these lands accessible requires significant resources.
By directing our support here, we hope to help maintain the access points, habitat quality, and management programs that keep these public lands thriving. It’s about ensuring that the "Natural State" remains accessible to all of us who live here.
